MARANA — The Marana Unified School District Governing Board approved an intergovernmental agreement between Marana Unified School District, the Town of Marana, and Northwest Fire District.

“I believe this agreement will provide the district with many costs saving measures,” said Bob Thomas the director of facilities for MUSD.

The agreement will formally allow the Town of Marana to provide the district with the use of town facilities such as the council chambers for MUSD board meetings, the stage and equipment for school events such as graduation, and waive impact fees for building permits.
