World War II bombers descended on the Marana Regional airport over the weekend for walk-through tours and flights. Tours were given for those who could squirm through the tight confines of the B-24 and B-17 Bombers. Flights could be arranged for an extra cost. A modified P-51 Mustang was available to those who wanted a little seat time at the controls of one of the greatest fighter planes ever. The event is hosted by the Collings Foundation, a non-profit educational foundation devoted to organizing living history events that allow people to learn more about their heritage and history through direct participation.
