Fire district to host series of open houses

MARANA — The next open house for the Northwest Fire District’s open house series from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., on Saturday.

The open house will take place at Fire Station #33 located at 2821 W. Ina Road at the southeast corner of Ina and Shannon Roads.

A pancake breakfast will be served by firefighters as members of the community get an opportunity to visit with their local firefighters, see the fire apparatus up close and tour the fire station.

Fire prevention information will also be available including the Northwest Fire District’s realistic smoke trailer which allows people to practice fire escape plans in a simulated smoke environment.
