MARANA — It was a very good week for the Mountain View boys tennis team as they went 2-0 and inch their way closer to the postseason. The three other local tennis teams did not fare quite as well.
The Mountain View boys tennis team had a decisive 8-1 win over Sunnyside last Tuesday.
Even without two of their top players in the line-up, all six Mountain Lions singles players won their matches.
Josh Davis had the most convincing win, taking his match 6-1, 6-0.
