Tigers fall to Nighthawks

The Marana boys volleyball team fell 3-0 to Ironwood Ridge on Tuesday night.

The match was the first of three this week for the Tigers. They face Canyon Del Oro Wednesday night and then close out the season with a road game at rival Mountain View.

The Mountain Lions played Rincon on Tuesday night, but results have yet to be made available.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 2-14 in the regular season. They beat Amphi on Thursday night, snapping a 12-game losing streak.

They have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. The Dorados are 9-6 on the season and still battling for a playoff spot. They enter the day ranked 25th, one spot out of the final playoff slot.
