All-Star Tournaments re-caps

The District 5 All-Star Tournaments got going Monday night and all seven tournaments will be in full swing by Tuesday night.

9/10 Baseball

Continental Ranch and Thornydale were supposed to meet on the first night but their game was postponed.

Marana had a first round bye and will play Tuesday night against CDO. CDO beat Frontier 12-2 on Monday night and will meet Marana at 7:30 at Arthur Pack.

10/11 Baseball

Thornydale pounded Tanque Verde 12-4 on Monday night. That sets up a game against Continental Ranch Tuesday night. The teams get going at 7:30 at Kreigh Park next to Canyon Del Oro High School.

9/10 Softball

The 9/10 Softball Tournament gets going on Tuesday night. Thornydale meets Tanque Verde at Mehl Park, first pitch is at 6 p.m.

Marana meets Continental Ranch at 6 p.m. at Crossroads Park.

10-11 Softball

Marana and Thornydale meet in a best of three series. The first game is Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Crossroads.
