Monday night All-Stars update

Two Thornydale teams were still alive in baseball tournaments. At the end of the night, only one remained.

9/10 Baseball

Thornydale’s season came to an end in the championship series. They lost a 2-1 hearbreaker to Sabino Canyon in an elimination game. Sabino Canyon will now face CDO with the winner getting Coronado for the championship.

Thornydale is now one win away from the Disitrct 5 Championship. Thornydale beat CDO 7-4 to advance to the championship game. CDO then beat Coronado 4-3 in an elimination game. The two teams will meet Thursday night. CDO must win twice to win the championship, while Thornydale needs to win just once.

The winner advances to the state championships in Kingman.
