Dove Mountain Rotary awards four scholarships

MARANA — Four graduating seniors from local high schools have been notified of their selection for $2,000 scholarships awarded by the Dove Mountain Rotary Club.

Marana High winners are John Condit, who will attend Pima Community College, and Brianna Murphy, Eastern Arizona College. Scholarship winners from Mountain View are Stephania Ochs, Arizona State University, and Kevin Ehrichs, University of Arizona. The students will receive $1,000 each year for the first two years of study.

The 27-member Dove Mountain club has given the scholarships annually for the past seven years.

The scholarships and other projects on behalf of local education are made possible by the club’s annual fundraising events.
