Bicycle safety fair in Picture Rocks

PICTURE ROCKS — Nearly 100 children and adults came to the first Picture Rocks Bicycle Safety Fair on Saturday at the local fire station. Thirty-two bike helmets were fitted and given away by the Pima County Department of Transportation Bike Ambassadors Program, bikes were repaired by BICAS, bikers tried an obstacle course, and bicycle safety lessons were ongoing. The event was sponsored by Citizens for Picture Rocks, Picture Rocks Community Center, Picture Rocks Fire District, and Pima County Department of Transportation.
