How long have you worked for the town?

I have worked for Marana Parks and Recreation for 15 years as of this past May. Ten years in youth programs and five years in Special Interest Classes and now Community Enrichment.

What do you enjoy most about working for Parks and Rec?

What I enjoy most about working for Parks and Recreation is having to be on top of my creative game. My job is very rewarding. I love new program development and offering new and exciting opportunities for the community. I have been blessed to touch many lives in the community in which I also reside, this is the priceless part.

How did your career path develop?

I was a Graphic Design major in college and have always been very creative throughout my early life. Once I was an adult I continued to work with a variety of organizations in the Tucson area. I then applied to work at the town. I think I have always tried to bring the best services to Marana through my own past and present experiences. I look forward to continuing to offer many exciting services to the community.

Tell us about your family:

I am married to my husband for the past 12 years. I have three wonderful grown sons, Mitchell (27), Corey (24) and Dustin (22) and three great daughters- in- laws. I have one daughter, Ciarra (10) who is the focus of my world. I also have three beautiful grandchildren, Julian (6), Mikayla (4) and Aubrey (3). All my children live in the Tucson area, are hardworking, and healthy. I am very blessed.

What is one of your favorite family memories?

Being at the hospital for the birth of my granddaughter, Aubrey. It was great to partake in birthing experience and be able to experience of the next generation of my family. The best part was the tears of joy and happiness and no pain.

What would be your ideal vacation?

Endless, and at the beach with my family. I find the waves to be very peaceful.

What are your favorite movies?

The entire Twilight Saga.

What are your hobbies?

Decorating, movie going, swimming and Zumba

Where would we most likely find you on a weekend afternoon?

Running errands to get ready for my work week with my daughter or attending family/friend functions.
