Match Play confirmed at Ritz in 2013

The Tucson Conquistadors have confirmed that the Accenture Match Play Championship will return to the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana for 2013.

The PGA had explored the possibility of moving the tournament to Omni Tucson National.

There’s been no confirmation on a venue for the 2014 tournament or the long-term status of the event in Marana or the Tucson area. Accenture’s deal to sponsor Match Play expires after the 2014 tournament.

2013 will mark the fifth straight year that Match Play has been held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and the seventh consecutive year it will be staged in Marana.
