MARANA — Approximately 90 third grade students at Ironwood Elementary School will conduct a special event titled “The Ironwood Wax Museum," at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 2 and again at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 3.
Each third grade student will be dressed as their famous historical figure who contributed significantly to the United States and/or the World. The students will give a 20-30 second presentation about their subject's contributions while standing next to a display they made depicting the person's life. Following their presentation, students will resume their wax pose as fellow students, parents, and community members take advantage of this unique learning experience.
Don't miss this opportunity to meet Helen Keller, Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, Cleopatra, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Abraham Lincoln and many others.
