MARANA — Tentative approval of the fiscal year 2013 budget tops the agenda at tonight's night’s Marana Town Council Meeting. The regular meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. in the Marana Municipal Complex.
The town council has looked at every section of the budget over the past five months as each was finished and presented. This will mark the last time any major changes can be made to the annual budget. The budget must be approved in June as is already on the agenda of the June 15 meeting.
The council will also adopt the amended Town of Marana Comprehensive Fee Schedule and put it into practice.
Parks and Recreation Director Tom Ellis will officially make a presentation of the final purchase of the Heritage Farms, which was purchased last week. The council will also hear on how the new purchase from the state fits into the entire project that extends from Sandario Road all the way to Tangerine Road.
