Burglary Force Residence

Monday, April 23

5:49 p.m., 3000 block of W. Green Ridge Dr. A woman reported that the front door to her home had been kicked in by an unknown suspect. The suspect took a $150 iPod and over $9,000 worth of jewelry.

Other Assaults Minor Injury

Thursday, April 26

3:50 p.m., 3800 block of W. Turkey Lane A man reported that two men had come to his home and an argument started in the house. The three men went outside and a fight broke out. The two men left the scene of the fight after brandishing a large knife. Deputies took statements from everyone that was at the house at the time and from the two men when they arrived home. Deputies were unable to determine if a crime had been committed and there were no charges filed at this time.

Other Assaults Minor Injury

Friday, April 27

7:17 a.m., 11400 block of N. David Avenue A woman reported that her daughter was injured while riding her bike because a rope had been tied across the street. This case is still under investigation to determine if it was a deliberate act and therefore an assault or if it was just an accident.

Larceny Bicycle

Friday, April 27

9:41 a.m., 6900 block of N. Village View Drive A man reported that he had just seen a teenager ride past him on a bike that looked just like a bike that had been stolen from him six weeks ago. The man did not have a serial number or any other proof that the bike was his so the bicycle could not be recovered.

Larceny All Other

Friday, April 27

12:08 p.m., 3900 block of W. Linda Vista Blvd. A student at Mountain View High School reported that $129 was missing out of his wallet when it was returned to him after he had misplaced it in the Library.

Burglary No Force Residence

Saturday, April 28

3:50 p.m., 9700 block of N. Camino Del Fierro A woman reported arriving home and finding her ex-husband in front of her new home. The ex-husband had not lived at the new residence and did not have a key but he had been inside the house. He said that he no longer had a storage unit so he thought his ex-wife might want some of the stuff he had in storage back. He had left several items in the front yard but did have her TV from inside the house in his truck. When confronted the ex-husband did return the television before he left.
