Posted: Monday, Jun 18th, 2012

MARANA ó The Gladden Farms Community Association held its 5th Annual Gladdenís Family Fishing Day on Satruday at Silverbell Lake in Columbus Park.

Through a community partnership with the Arizona Game & Fish Departmentís Education Program the Gladden Farms Community Association was able to host this day of family fun and fishing. No one was required to have a license during the event and AZGFD supplied free bait and 100 loaner rods to participants.

DLC Resources, the commercial landscape contractor for Gladden Farms Community Association, has also partnered with the association to host a free BBQ lunch for those attending.

Gladden Farms is the premiere Master-Planned Community in Marana, whose Community Association & CCMC Management Team understand the importance of bringing families & neighbors together. Lifestyle events are organized throughout the calendar year for Gladden Farm residents. The focus on Lifestyle is just one of the many wonderful aspects that set this community apart.

The Free Family Fishing event started five years ago in memory of former Lifestyle Director Kristina Allenís father.
