Splash and Dash continues to grow

MARANA — Last night was the second of the Marana Parks and Recreation's Splash and Dash events being held this summer. About 60 people participated in the swim and run event.

This aquathon event will take place the first and third Thursday of June, July and August, for six total dates, at the Marana Municipal Pool at Ora Mae Harn Park, 13250 N. Lon Adams Road.

Three different age groups will have different lengths to swim and distances to run.

The cost is $5 per person per day participating. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 6:30 p.m.
