Benefit planned for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

MARANA — A night of great music to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF Desert Southwest) is planned for 7 p.m., on June 25, at Vision Church/Rock n' Java Coffee house, 7555 W. Twin Peaks Road.

Tickets are $15 and all of the proceeds go to JDRF Desert Southwest. Performers for the evening include Toby & Friends, Jeff Frizzell, Friends of Joe, and the Light the Way Church band.

This concert is in memory of Joe Rodgers Jr., a local music artist who lost his battle with diabetes in 2011.
