Burglary No Force

Sunday, June 10

9:42 a.m., 7400 block of W. Crimson Ridge Dr. – A listing agent of a house in foreclosure reported that a $600 gas stove had been stolen from the house. There was no sign of forced entry.



Larceny – Shoplifting

Sunday, June 10

5:45 p.m., 8200 block of N. Cortaro Road – The loss prevention officer at Wal-Mart had a male suspect in custody for shoplifting. The suspect took an Otterbox valued at $55.15 off the shelf and after removing it from its packaging concealed it in a pocket. The suspect was cited and released.



Disorderly Conduct

Sunday, June 10

8:23 p.m., 3700 block of W. Orange Grove – A man reported that while he was on the porch area in front of the Stadium Grill with friends a man exited the building and was being belligerent and hostile. Fearing for his girlfriend’s safety the victim put himself between the man from the bar and his girlfriend at which time the man from the bar began striking him. After a brief alteration the man got in his vehicle and left. Neither party wanted to pursue charges. This report is for documentation only.



Suspicious Activity

Monday, June 11

1:25 a.m., North Tangerine Farms Road & North Lon Adams Road – A woman reported that while she was stopped at this intersection her vehicle was struck with four paintballs.



Criminal Damage

Monday, June 11

9:11 a.m., 8800 block of N. Yellowmoon Dr. – A woman reported that while her car was parked overnight at this location an unknown suspect spray painted a black swastika on her trunk.

Monday, June 11

1:18 p.m., Warfield Circle & Galleno road – An officer was dispatched to this location because the stop sign with two street signs attached had been run over. The cost of repairs was estimated at $300.



Larceny – Shoplifting

Monday, June 11

4:54 p.m., 5800 block of W. Arizona Pavilions – Two men entered Kohl’s together and went to the shoe department. One man put on a pair of Sketcher shoes valued at $75 and the other man put on Sketcher boots valued at $110. Both men then placed their old shoes in the shoe boxes and placed the boxes back on the shelf. One of the men was detained at Kohl’s while the other man was taken into custody at Wal-Mart and brought back to Kohl’s. Both men were trespassed from Kohl’s, cited and released.



Intentional Vandalism

Monday, June 11

6:25 p.m., 6000 block of W. Milay Street – A woman reported that overnight an unknown suspect had keyed her car. The damage was reported to run from the front of the driver’s side to the rear of the vehicle.



Larceny – Shoplifting

Tuesday, June 12

3:15 a.m., 3700 block of W. Ina Road – The store manager of CVS reported that a couple had entered the store together. The female concealed $62.11 worth of lotion, shampoo and fragrance on her person before leaving the store without paying.



Larceny – Shoplifting

Tuesday, June 12

4:07 p.m., 3900 block of W. Ina Road – The owner of Rock N Babies Resale Shop reported that a $300 Coach diaper bag had been stolen from the front window display.



Criminal Damage – Graffiti

Tuesday, June 12

4:27 p.m., 4300 block of W. Ina Road – The manager of a Family Discount Storage business reported that graffiti had been painted on two buildings that are outside the secured gate.



Theft

Wednesday, June 13

10:20 a.m., 4900 block of W. Ina Road – A woman reported that she was given a ride from the train station to Wal-Mart and then to the Red Roof Inn. The man left her at the hotel taking her $329 Compaq laptop and a $400 suitcase containing her clothes.



Larceny – Shoplifting

Wednesday, June 13

4:48 p.m., 5800 block of N. Arizona Pavilions – The loss prevention officer at Kohl’s reported observing two male suspects entering the store. One of the men took a bracelet and the two men proceeded to leave the store. When they realized they were being followed the suspect that took the bracelet threw it at the loss prevention officer. Officers were unable to locate the two suspects.



Stolen Vehicle

Wednesday, June 13

9:16 p.m., 4600 block of W. Ina Road – A man staying at the Motel 6 while on a project for a company out of San Diego reported that his work truck had been stolen from the parking lot. Broken glass found in the parking lot indicated that force was used. The stolen vehicle is valued at $25,000.



Criminal Damage – Graffiti

Thursday, June 14

8:55 a.m., 7200 block of N. Ulene Place – An employee of Gold Canyon Chiropractic reported that a perimeter wall had been tagged with graffiti. Several different tags had been painted in big letters in black spray paint.



Outstanding Warrant

Thursday, June 14

7:59 p.m., 9400 N. Sammy Ave. – While attempting to serve an outstanding warrant on a female that had missed her court date the suspect was determined to be too intoxicated to be booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center. Paramedics arrived and determined that the suspect needed to be taken to the hospital for evaluation.



Theft

Friday, June 15

8:40 a.m., 5800 block of W. Arizona Pavilions – A woman reported that when she returned to car after working out at LA Fitness she discovered that the locked gas cap door had been pried open. The suspect also took the gas cap with them. It was determined that there was not any gas missing from the vehicle.



Intentional Vandalism

Friday, June 15

8:42 a.m., 5600 block of W. Copperhead Dr. – A man reported that two of the tires on his vehicle had been punctured by an unknown suspect. Repairs are estimated at $200.



Criminal Damage

Friday, June 15

8:51 a.m., 4100 block of W. Ina Road – A woman reported that a dumpster had been damaged. It was determined that the dumpster had been tagged with washable marker that came right off which means there was no probable cause for arrest and the case was closed.



Larceny from Motor Vehicle

Friday, June 15

10:48 p.m., 11000 block of W. Barley Drive – A woman reported finding one of her car doors open and a $300 Fossil purse stolen after she ran into her house for about 15 minutes.
